Frequently Asked Questions
What is Brick Loop?
Brick Loop is a monthly LEGO® rental subscription that lets you build more without the cost or clutter of owning every set. Choose your plan, receive curated builds, enjoy them at your own pace, then return them to re-loop your experience.
How many sets do I get at a time?
We offer two flexible ways to build. Our monthly build boxes include 3 sets out at a time, curated based on piece count, age rating, and value. Prefer to choose one build at a time? Single set rentals are available as one build per subscription, and you can hold multiple active subscriptions if you’d like more control over your building experience.
Are the builds a surprise?
Yes. Each shipment includes surprise builds curated to match your subscription and building experience (Digital or Screen-Free). Themes rotate regularly to keep things fresh. Single set rentals allow you the option to pick your sets.
Instructions & Building Experience
How do I access building instructions?
You can choose your building experience:
Digital Build Experience - Access official digital instructions through the Builder app or PDF download.
Screen-Free Experience - Includes original printed instruction booklets. Screen-Free plans are priced slightly higher due to added weight and the cost to replace lost or damaged booklets. You always have the option to access official digital instructions through the Builder app or PDF download.
Are instruction booklets always included?
No, this is an option available as part of your subscription. Select our Screen-Free Plan for the instruction booklet, or access official digital instructions through the Builder app or PDF download.
Shipping & Returns
Is shipping included?
Yes. Free shipping both ways is included with every monthly multi loop subscription for one exchange per billing period.
How long can I keep my sets?
You may keep your sets as long as you like. There are no late fees for extended builds. Your monthly subscription must remain active while sets are in your possession.
When does my next shipment ship?
Your next shipment will ship on your monthly renewal date, provided your previous rental has been:
- Returned using the provided prepaid return label
- Received in full and passed our QC inspection for quality and missing parts
- For excessive damage or lost parts you must have paid your fee balance before your next shipment is processed.
What if I keep my sets longer than one month?
That’s okay. Your next shipment will process within 3 business days after your return is received and inspected.
Do unused exchanges roll over?
No. Each plan includes one exchange per billing period. Unused exchanges do not roll over or generate credits.
Quality Control & Missing Parts
Are sets inspected?
Yes. Every set is cleaned, counted, and inspected before shipment and after return to ensure part integrity.
What if a piece is missing when I receive my set?
Contact us right away. We’ll send a replacement part when available or apply a credit toward your next rental.
What if parts are not disassembled, missing or damaged when I return a set?
Normal wear is expected. However
- Sets not broken down in full
- Missing pieces of more than 10 per set
- Excessive damage
- Unreturned sets
may result in replacement fees, charges to the payment method on file, or account suspension, depending on severity. Your next shipment cannot be processed until these items are settled.
Billing, Fees & Collections
What happens if I don’t return my rental?
If a rental is not returned after multiple contact attempts:
- Your account may be suspended
- Replacement charges including administrative time apply
- The balance may be referred to a third-party collection service for recovery. Rates are calculated on replacement costs plus 20% administrative fee and all collection costs.
- By subscribing, you authorize Brick Loop to pursue recovery of unreturned or excessively damaged property.
Can my payment method be charged for missing or damaged items?
Yes. You authorize Brick Loop to charge the payment method on file for:
- Unreturned Sets
- Missing parts beyond normal use
- Excessive damage
- Set breakdown and reorganization time if sets are still assembled and not properly sorted into set bags. Billed at $20.00 per hour.
Charges are based on replacement cost, including shipping and administrative time not MSRP.
Account & Subscription Management
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. You may cancel at any time. All active rentals must be returned and pass inspection before cancellation is finalized.
What happens if I cancel with sets still out?
Your subscription will remain active until all sets are returned and inspected. Failure to return sets may result in charges as outlined above.
