From Our Family to Yours: Why We Started Brick Loop

Hi there — welcome to Brick Loop.

Brick Loop was started by a mom and her almost-7-year-old son, built on a simple idea: play matters. Not just for fun (though that’s a big part of it), but for connection, confidence, calm, and creativity.

How LEGO® Became Our Favorite Screen-Free Time

We discovered LEGO® when my son was about 4 years old, and something immediately clicked. He could sit for long stretches completely focused — screen-free — building with a mix of independent play and “help me with this part, Mom” teamwork.

Over time, we saw what that kind of play created:

• Better focus (longer attention, less frustration)
• A real love for building (not just finishing)
• Calm, steady playtime that felt good for both of us
• More confidence (“I can do hard things.”)

It became our rhythm — a way to slow down and enjoy time together.

The “One More Set” Phase

Like a lot of families, we started buying a set here and there… and then it became a monthly thing. And the builds got bigger. Before we knew it, he was tackling surprisingly complex sets and finishing them in about an hour — then looking up with that excited face that says:

“Do we have another one?” We tried all kinds of themes, but after exploring a mix of Creator-style builds, we started thinking: What if families could enjoy fresh sets all the time without constantly buying, storing, or spending big every month?

A New Adventure: Building a Business Together

Brick Loop is our family’s next chapter — a little entrepreneurship adventure inspired by:

• a family history of independent business ownership
• our passion for the things we genuinely love
• and a desire to build something that creates community and connection through play

Tested by Our “Little Builder”

Every set we offer is carefully checked — and yes, that includes a very serious approval process by our in-house quality inspector.  In our first week of business, he built and approved all of our new sets. If it didn’t feel fun, smooth, and satisfying, it didn’t make the cut.
